Our team of welders operate under our CSA N285.0 welding program (this is the Canadian equivalent to ASME Section III and Section IX). Niagara Energy Products also maintains a CWB 47.1 welding program for fabrications requiring less stringent requirements.
Our team of engineers regularly design complex welding processes and fixtures to achieve the desired welding performance and tolerances as cost effectively as possible.
We regularly use the following welding processes: Shielded Metal Arc welding (SMAW), Tungsten Inert Gas welding (TIG), Flux Core welding, Metal Inert Gas welding (MIG), and Sub-Arc welding (SAW). With this wide array of capabilities, we are effectively able to weld thicknesses ranging from 1/16” thick to 8” thick.
We also operate advanced automated welding cells for the Flux Core welding, Metal Inert Gas welding (MIG), and Sub-Arc welding (SAW) processes which greatly increases productivity on high volume jobs.
